On June 24, 2024, Keio Center for Strategy (KCS), in collaboration with Nikkei Inc. and Shorenstein Asia-Pacific Research Center at Stanford University, held a public symposium titled ‘The Liberal International Order in the Indo-Pacific’.
In session 2, titled ‘How to Confront Authoritarian States: Populism and the Crisis of Democracy’, the speakers explored the future of democracy, currently under threat.
