On June 5, 2023, Keio Center for Strategy (KCS) held a symposium titled “The Increasing Uncertainty of the World Order: Contemplating U.S. Role in the World” at G-lab, located on the 6th floor of the East Building at Keio University’s Mita Campus,

 

The event commenced with opening remarks by Motohiro Tsuchiya, Executive Director of Keio University and Professor at the Faculty of Policy Management. The symposium, hosted by Satoru Mori, Professor at the Faculty of Law and Deputy Director of KCS, featured in-depth discussions and presentations by four experts. These included Yuichi Hosoya, Professor at the Faculty of Law and Director of KCS; Yoko Hirose, Professor at the Faculty of Policy Management and Deputy Director of Keio Global Research Institute; and Tomoki Kamo, Dean and Professor at the Faculty of Policy Management.

Each speaker raised issues and exchanged opinions on “The Increasing Uncertainty of the World Order: Contemplating U.S. Role in the World” from their specialized perspectives.

In the midst of increasing uncertainties and unpredictability in the world affairs, Keio Center for Strategy (KCS) was established within the Keio Global Research Institute in March 2023 by synthesizing Strategic Studies, International Security Studies, International Relations, and Geoeconomics.
