Yuichi Hosoya

After graduating from the Faculty of Law at Rikkyo University, he completed his Master of International Studies (MIS) at the University of Birmingham. He later received his Ph.D. in law from Keio University. He has served as a visiting fellow at Princeton (Fulbright Fellow), a visiting professor at Sciences-Po in Paris (Japan Chair) and a visiting fellow at Downing College, the University of Cambridge. He has also been appointed as a member of the Advisory Board at Japan’s National Security Council (NSC) (2014-2016), Prime Minister’s Advisory Panel on Reconstruction of the Legal Basis for Security (2013-14) and Prime Minister’s Advisory Panel on National Security and Defense Capabilities (2013).
